- Have a genuine passion for food and cooking
- Want to build a career, not just collect a paycheck
- Are willing to start at the bottom and earn your way up
- Take feedback as fuel, not criticism
- Want to learn business, not just recipes
- Show up ready to work — every shift
Don’t Apply If You…
- Think you already know everything
- Just need “any job” for now
- Expect to skip steps or jump ahead
- Can’t handle direct, honest feedback
- See restaurant work as temporary
- Aren’t willing to put in the hours
The Work Is Real
Kitchens are hot. Shifts are long. The pressure is constant. We’re not going to pretend otherwise.
But that’s true everywhere in this industry. The difference is what you get for it. Here, you get trained. You get developed. You get a path forward — not a dead end.
We found a significant problem with the culinary industry’s education and career pathways. We sought out to fill that gap ourselves. We don’t leave cooks as cooks — we build them into leaders.

Do I need culinary school to work here? No. We require passion for the culinary industry, not a degree. Our apprenticeship program teaches you everything culinary school would — plus business and marketing skills they don’t — while paying you instead of charging you tuition.
What is the training program?A structured apprenticeship where you learn culinary arts, knife skills, stone oven cooking, customer service, social media marketing, catering sales, and business operations. You start in the restaurant and graduate to Frato’s Personal Chef Catering as a Culinary Leader.
Why do employees stay here? Most restaurants have 75%+ annual turnover. We invest in developing employees into leaders instead of treating them as replaceable labor. Positions are limited because our staff stays — so apply early, as you may be placed on a waiting list.
What’s the schedule like?Restaurant hours. Evenings, weekends, holidays — that’s when people eat out. If you’re looking for a 9-to-5, this isn’t it. But unlike places that give everyone minimal hours, we aim to give you maximum hours if you want them.
Ready to Start?
Positions are limited. Our staff loves working here and stays. Apply early — you may be placed on a waiting list until a spot opens.
